Services for Adam Gambrell, 29, who passed away on April 4, 2025, will be held at First Baptist Church of Taylorsville on Friday, April 11, 2025 at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends at Colonial Chapel of Raleigh, on Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 5-8 PM. Arrangements have been entrusted to Colonial Chapel of Raleigh.
Adam was the most loving father and husband to Roman and Alexis. He was an Eagle Scout, "The Order of The Arrow." He played in the band at Southeast Lauderdale High School, East Mississippi Community College, Livingston University, and played the drums at First Baptist Church of Taylorsville. Adam served as the Percussion Instructor/ Assistant Band Director for the Raleigh High School Lion Pride Marching Band. Adam served his community as a Paramedic with AmeriPro, Supervisor of Jasper County and Chief Operating Officer with Mississippi Weather Network.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Billie Joe Gambrell, Sr. and grandmother, Joy Gambrell.
Survivors include his wife, Alexis Parker Gambrell; his son, Roman Orion Gambrell; his parents, Billie Joe and Heather Gambrell; his brother, Eric Gambrell; his sisters, Cecilia Daws and Hannah Gambrell Fink; his grandparents, Jim and Elizabeth Jemison; his brother-in-law, Brandon Parker (Breanna), his unborn nephew, Oliver; and an untold number of friends and family.
Adam was and will always be the definition of a hero.
