Andrew Rex Lee, 75, passed from this life on April 7, 2015, at the Jasper General Hospital in Bay Springs. He was born on January 22, 1940. He retired from the United States Postal Service after 20 years of service. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Bay Springs, MS.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Thigpen Lee: daughters, Rhonda Lee Parker and Dawn Lee Harris; son-in –law, Chad Harris; grandchildren, Emilee Claire Parker and Saydee Hope Harris; sisters, Dillie Myrick, Laverne Randolph, Ella Ruth Harrington; and brother-in-law, William E. Myrick; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew P. Lee and Livie Dixon Lee; brother, Dewey Lee; and grandson, Andrew Seth Donavon Harris.

Rex was a 1959 graduate of Bay Springs High School. Rex was a Master Mason and a Shriner. He was employed with Northern Electric, Masonite of Laurel, Carpenter for his late brother in law Herman Harrington, Jasper County News, Abney Motor Company, National General Life Insurance Company, Harrison Insurance Company, Memory Chapel Funeral Home, Walker Memorial Company, and The Wash Center in Bay Springs, MS.

His hobbies included fishing, hunting and spending time with grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April, 10, 2015, at First Baptist Church in Bay Springs, MS. Visitation begins at 10:00 am and funeral will follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial to follow at Bay Springs Cemetery.
