Annette Thompson Sykes
(June 9, 1950 – March 28, 2025)

Annette Thompson Sykes, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025, at the age of 74, at her residence in Raleigh, MS.  She was born on June 9, 1950.

Annette dedicated her life to work and family.  she found joy in cooking, working in her yard, and spending time with family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Joe Sykes; her father, Quitman Thompson; and her mother, Katherine Rodriguez Thompson.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Betty Ann Middleton (James Parker); her grandchildren, Jessica Hendrix and Ramsey Middleton; her great-grandchildren, Zoey Kayt, Koltyn, and Kastyn Hendrix; her sister, Pasty Rayner (Rufus); and her brother, Detrick Thompson (Becky).

Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Raleigh was in charge of all arrangements.
