Annie Marie Martin, 92 of Bay Springs, Mississippi passed away from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at Jasper General Nursing Home in Bay Springs, Mississippi. She was born on Sunday, July 19, 1931, in Thomaston, Georgia.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 22 E. 4th Avenue, Bay Springs, Mississippi.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 4:30 p.m. at Bay Springs City Cemetery in Bay Springs, Mississippi. Bro. Ed King will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements. 601-764-2181

Ms. Marie was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.  She was devoted in taking care of her parents and other family members.  She was known to all that knew her as a very caring, loving, and given person. She was very thankful for all of the kind things that her family and friends did for her.   She will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Slade and Annie Martin; and brother, Junior Martin.

Survivors include her two sisters, Barbara Martin Williams of Florence, MS, and Alma Martin Tefft of Hamilton, GA; one niece, Regina Williams Warnock (John) of Bay Springs, MS; one nephew, Todd Martin (Wanda) of PA; and a host of other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Todd Martin, Benson Warnock, Paul Devine, Stacey Knight, and Danny Phillips.
