Anthony Frank Ervin, Sr., 75 of Morton, MS passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at his residence.  He was born Thursday, November 14, 1946 in San Francisco, California.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Sardis Baptist Church in the White Oak Community. Funeral services will immediately follow.  Bro. Tim Robinson, Bro. Johnny Paul Adcock, and Bro. Anthony Grayson will officiate the services. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Raleigh is in charge of arrangements. 601-764-2181

Anthony was a member of Sardis Baptist Church.  His hobbies include: old school mechanicing, car racing, camping and fishing.  He was also a Veteran of the United States Navy.  He also enjoyed spending time with his family being a loving husband, father, and Papa.   Anthony will truly be missed by all that knew him.

He was preceded in death by his son, Anthony Ervin, Jr.; father, Jack Ervin; mother, Carmen Gloria Aguirre; and brother, Roy Sepulveda.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Jean Gilliam Ervin;  son, Chris Ervin (Chasity);  daughters, Ashley Ervin Hutchinson (Cody) and Jennifer Carretero (Ronnie);  step-children, David Vess and Kristy Vess; grandchildren, Dillian Sawdy, Lilah Phillipson, Cayden Hutchinson, Brooklyn Ervin, Brynleigh Hutchinson, Hunter Hutchinson, Lorenzo Gonzalez, Dominic Carrettero and Sienna Carrettero;  brothers, David Adcock and Richard Adcock;  sisters, Rose Gaitan, Carmen Bond, Marcia Adcock, Martha Arroyo-Adcock, Elizabeth Adcock and Melinda Herrera.
