When God made this little lady, he gave her a little extra sugar and spice. She may have only been 4"11 in height, but there was so much joy, happiness, fun, and spunk inside of that little package. He knew that she would light up every life she ever touched. She was the most selfless, sweet and sassy lady anyone could ever come to know. She did for and worried about everyone before she did for or worried about herself. Ava was well known for her cheerful smile and for her love for flowers and birds.
She was preceded in death by parents, Pascal Thornton and Elizabeth Thornton; husband, Pet Robinson; son, Larry Robinson; 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
Survivors include her daughter, Cathy Shaw (Gary); brothers, Lennis Thornton and Bondy Thornton; grandchildren, Christopher Shaw, Kimberly Shaw, Billy Robinson and Jill Wilshire; 4 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members.
