Barbara Martin Williams
(May 11, 1933 – March 2, 2025)

Barbara Martin Williams, 91, of Florence, MS, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at her daughter's home in Bay Springs, Mississippi. Born on May 11, 1933, in Thomaston, Georgia, Barbara was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.

Barbara was a hard-working individual who dedicated over thirty years of her life as a claims manager for Hospital Benefits. She was a loving divorced single mother who raised her daughter with devotion and care. Barbara enjoyed watching sports, working with flowers, and most importantly, spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by one daughter, Regina Warnock and her husband John of Bay Springs, MS; one sister, Alma Martin Tefft of Hamilton, GA; and one nephew, Todd Martin and his wife Wanda of PA. She was preceded in death by her father, James Slade Martin; her mother, Annie Bickley Martin; brother, Junior Martin; and sister, Annie Marie Martin.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs, located at 22 E 4th Avenue, Bay Springs, MS. A Graveside Funeral Service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Bay Springs Cemetery in Bay Springs, Mississippi, officiated by Bro. Eddie Brady. Arrangements are under the care of Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Of Bay Springs.

Pallbearers will be Benson Warnock, Paul Devine, Todd Martin, Danny Phillips, and Sid Guest.

Barbara will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
