Bernice P. Parker, 97, of Bay Springs, Mississippi, died Sunday August 12, 2018 at Jasper County Nursing Home in Bay Springs, Mississippi. She was born Monday, November 29, 1920 in Jasper County Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 from 8:30 AM until 10:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Bay Springs, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs and the Burial will follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Buddy Jennings and Bro. Rudy Jackson will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 764-2181.

She was preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life, Forest Parker; father, Otho Lee Pittman; mother, Ethel Pittman; sisters, Eron Thigpen, Ann Dovis. Moss and Lolene Cook; brothers, Jack Pittman, Otho Lee Pittman and  Bill Pittman.

Survivors include her sister, Peggy Stephenson; special niece and nephew, Elaine Stringer (Billy) special friends, Tom and Cindy Johnston; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
