Betty Lou Parker, 83, of Bay Springs, MS passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Jasper County Nursing Home in Bay Springs, MS. She was born Wednesday, March 30, 1938 in Bay Springs, MS.

Graveside Services will be held Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Bay Springs City Cemetery with burial to follow. Pastor Ed King and Pastor Cliff Jenkins will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements. (601) 764-2181

Betty Lou was a life-long member of Bay Springs Baptist. She was a graduate of Bay Springs High School and attended Jones Jr College. She served her church in many ways including, choir librarian, choir member, Wednesday night cashiers, Baptist Women and Relay Life. She loved her Lord and Savior, her family and friends, her pastors, her ministers of music, the ladies who served as church secretaries he special friends Debbie Jefcoat and Judy Russell and her church family at Bay Springs Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Hudson and Nebraska Rodgers Parker, brothers, Tony Parker, Walter Parker, sisters, Eleanor Parker Jenkins, Bernice Parker, Mary Alice Parker Elliot, Aline Parker Ptak.

She is survived by a host of loving family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be her nephews and the deacons of Bay Springs Baptist Church.
