Betty Jean Windham, 87, of Bay Springs, Mississippi, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022 at her residence in Bay Springs, Mississippi. She was born Sunday, April 29, 1934 in Jasper County, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 3, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Bay Springs, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs and the Burial will follow in Walters Chapel Cemetery. Rev. Betty was a homemaker and assisted Billy with their cattle and dozier business. She attended Walters Chapel Church. She enjoyed watching grandkids at numerous ballgames and school events. Her hobbies include gardening, cross stitch, fishing and shopping. She was very devoted to her church and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy R. Windham, parents, Tullos and Oliveree Keyes, grandson, Carson Gregory.

Survivors include her sons, Van Windham (Barbara), Bruce Windham (Nancy), daughter, Billie Jean Gregory (Rudolph), grandchildren, Clint Blakeney (Stephani), Katie Hayes (Nathan), Coty Blakeney (Tamara), Josh Windham (Kimber), Lee Windham (Brooke), Jared Windham (Brittany), Hannah Odom (Gil), Zack Gregory (Macie), Tanner Guynes, 20 great-grandchildren, sisters, Peggy Windham, Bonnie Williams (Charles), brother Charles Keyes (Sherry) and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Coty Blakeney, Josh Windham, Clint Blakeney, Lee Windham, Jared Windham, Nathan Hayes, and Gil Odom.
