Beverly Hughes, 68, of Morton, Mississippi, died Monday December 21, 2020, at Baptist Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. She was born Thursday, December 27, 1951, in Taylorsville, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Raleigh, Mississippi. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at 6:00 PM for family only at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Raleigh.

She was preceded in death by parents, R.B. and Elna Ruth Puckett; brother, Donald Puckett.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years James Hughes Sr; children, James Hughes Jr (Jamie) and Belinda Jones; grandchildren, Kasey Hughes and Kaylee Jones; brother, Bobby Puckett (Susan); sister, Linda Miller (John); brother, Perry Kearney (Elizabeth); brother, Stanley Puckett (Barbara); brother, Roy Puckett; a host of nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

To have her love is the forever kind.
