Bobbie Ray Smith, aged 61, of Morton, Mississippi, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Born on January 2, 1964, in Trinity, Texas, Bobbie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

She is survived by her devoted husband, David Smith, her son Jason Weaver, and her daughter Victoria Weaver. Bobbie was a cherished grandmother to Harleigh Weaver, Jaylah Crowdus, McKenzie Weaver, Bentley Counts, Liam Everette Smith, and Ellery Craft. She is also survived by her siblings, Larry Ray, Debbie Greene, and Kimberly Gonzalez, along with a host of extended family who will continue to cherish her memory.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, Harold C. and Patricia A. Hutchins Ray.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Raleigh, located at 219 Sylvarena Ave, Raleigh, Mississippi. Graveside services will take place on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery, with Bro. Anthony Grayson officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Raleigh.
