Bobby Dale Maddox, 81, of Raleigh, Mississippi, died Saturday, October 12, 2019, at his home. He was born Saturday, October 23, 1937 in Raleigh, Mississippi.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Raleigh. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Bobby was a dentist for 40 plus years. He served as mayor of Raleigh for 17 years. He served in the US Army for two years and was a Vietnam Veteran.

He was preceded in death by parents, Richard and Betty Maddox; sons, Dale Maddox and Craig Maddox; sisters, Myrtis Waller, Louise Blakeney, and Voncile Grant.

Survivors include wife, Doris McNair; step-daughters, Tamara Robbins and Stacy Varmette; three grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; one great grandchild; one step-great grandchild; sisters, Cleo Garner and Judy Lofton.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Scott Grant Medical Fund, Bancorp South Bay Springs.
