Bonnie Haden Tally, 87, of Louin, Mississippi, passed away Tuesday January 4, 2022, at Jasper General Hospital in Bay Springs, Mississippi. She was born Sunday, March 4, 1934, in Montrose, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Bay Springs, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 7, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Louin Congregational Methodist Church and the Burial will follow in Tally Family Cemetery. Bro. Leo Beatty and Charlie Fall will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements. (601) 764-2181

Bonnie was a faithful member of Louin Congregational Methodist Church. She retired from the Bay Springs Post Office after many years of excellent customer service. Bonnie loved her family, and she delighted in spending time with her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was an expert seamstress, enjoyed cooking for her family, and wore out several lawn mowers cutting her grass.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Tally, parents, Samuel Oren and Faye Maggie Read Haden, siblings, Kermit Haden, Lizzie Kate Rose, Milton Haden, J.B. Haden, Nora Downs.

Survivors include her children, Joleen McKenzie (Bill), Cynthia Speed (Don), Sidney Tally (Lori), grandchildren, Amy Speed, Barry McKenzie (Kristen), Neil Speed, Connie Martin (Jason), Matthew Tally (Courtnie), Brianna Fall (Charlie), great-grandchildren, Cole Maddox, Maggie McKenzie, Matti Martin, Luke Speed, Georgia McKenzie, Sawyer Martin, Lane Speed, Henry Fall, Isaac Tally, Rhett Martin, Vera Fall, siblings, Elna Faye Coit (Dan), Glenn Haden, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be Barry McKenzie, Cole Maddox, Jason Martin, Neil Speed, Matthew Tally, and Charlie Fall.
