Services for Mrs. Bonnie Sue Upton, 94, who passed away peacefully on August 2, 2025, at Mississippi Care Center of Raleigh, will be held at Colonial Chapel of Bay Springs on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at 4:00 PM. Interment will follow at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Stringer. The family will receive friends and relatives from 2:00 PM until service time. Brother James Sprayberry will officiate the service.

Bonnie was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Bonnie had a servant's heart and lived to serve others. She enjoyed attending church, cooking delicious meals, and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Upton was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Elbert F. Upton, Sr; parents, Deavours and Beatrice Brady; son, Elbert Frank "Frankie" Upton, Jr; grandson, Breland Boykin; sons-in-law, Glenn Boykin, and James Ingram; sister, Betty Odom; and brother, Jimmy Brady.

She is survived by her daughters, Doris Boykin Ingram, and Kathy Patterson; daughter-in-law, Judy Creel Upton; grandchildren, Alison Williams (Mason), Shelley Bradshaw (Gaylon), Brance Boykin (Cisly), Elbert Frankie "Hank" Upton III (Paulina); great-grandchildren, Bree Lynn Breaux (John Paul), Ivey Bruntlett, Brynn Boykin, Garrett Bradshaw (Bailey), Kyle Bradshaw, Brady Williams, Emma Rose Williams, Frankie Ann Upton, Elbert Frankie "Hank" Upton IV; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Brance Boykin, Brynn Boykin, Brady Williams, Hank Upton, John Paul Breaux, Garrett Bradshaw, and Kyle Bradshaw.
