Burlon Lawrence McNeil, 81, of Louin, Mississippi, died Wednesday, July 15, 2020 in Louin, Mississippi. He was born Sunday, September 4, 1938 in Smith County, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 17, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Bay Springs, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs and burial will follow in Leaf River Cemetery. Bro. Davy Hammons will officiate. Burlon was a Army Vietnam Veteran, served from 1963 to 1967. He was a loving family man who enjoyed horseback riding, gardening, 4 wheeler riding and grilling. He loved his dog, Woodrow and his horse Blaze.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie McNeil, parents, Son and Rhoda McNeil, daughter, Janet Carol McNeil, grandson, Copeland Carter, brother, Thomas McNeil.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene McNeil, daughters, Connie McNeil, Pamela Young (Cliff), Tonya Carter, son Jeff McNeil (Brianna), grandchildren, Jacob McNeil (Weatherbee), Jared McNeil, Jessy McNeil, Josie Haven McNeil, Noah Young, Kiefer Young, Jennifer McNeil, Nikki McNeil, Ginger McNeil, Cynthia Green, Emerald Green, great-grandchild, Greyson McNeil, brothers, Carey McNeil, Garland McNeil (Patsy), sisters, Faye Bostick (Dwight), Sue Langford and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Blake McNeil, Jared McNeil, Jacob McNeil, Noah Young, Jason Brown, and David Jones.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kiefer Young, Tommy Smith, Carey McNeil and Garland McNeil.
