Cecil Ruth Bryant, 88, of Bay Springs, Mississippi, died Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Jasper County Nursing Home in Bay Springs, Mississippi. She was born May 3, 1929 in Taylorsville, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2018 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Bay Springs, MS. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, January 28, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Bay Springs, MS and the burial will follow in Bezeer Hill Cemetery in Center Ridge, MS. Bro. Ruth was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved and enjoyed people, "to know her was to love her." She was one of a kind, a special lady that will be truly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by Ralph Bryant Sr. (Husband), Orin Sumrall (Father), Mae Sumrall (Mother), Janis Stringer (Daughter), Jack Sumrall (Brother), Virginia McCallum (Sister), Joe Sumrall (Brother).

Survivors include Daughters: Judy Knotts (Sidney) and Donna DiCocco (Bob); Son: Ralph Bryant Jr. (Roxanne); Granddaughters: Carla Grant (Scott), Kim Phillips (Chris), Kristy Hicks (Bill), Angela Wood (Leonard), Michelle Stewart (Irvin), Nicole Bergner (Nate); Grandsons: Jamie Stringer (Christi), Ryan DiCocco (Bonnie), Chaz Bryant (Rachel), Mason Bryant (Chelsea); 23 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren; Sisters-in-law: Jean Sumrall and Lucy Bryant; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Chaz Bryant, Mason Bryant, Blake Brewer, Jamie Stringer, Ryan DiCocco, Cole Stringer and Andrew Phillips.

Honorary pallbearers will be Sidney Knotts, Bob DiCocco, Scott Grant, Chris Phillips, Bill Hicks, Leonard Wood, Irvin Stewart and Nate Bergner.
