Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 06, 2022 at Trinity Methodist Church Cemetery in Raleigh, MS for Charles R Boykin, 67, of Raleigh, who passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at home . Interment will be at Trinity Methodist Church Cemetery in Raleigh. Rev. David Hammons will officiate the services.

Many people who knew him called him by his nickname "Red." Red liked to raise vegetable gardens along with working on his tractor and being outside.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Boykin, Sr.; mother, Rosalie "Withers" Boykin.

He is survived by his brothers, Ralph Boykin and Randall Boykin (Aileen); sister, Tressie Boykin of Arkansas.

Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Raleigh is in charge of arrangements.
