Charles A. Thigpen, 77 of Bay Springs, MS passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2022, in Bay Springs, MS. He was born Tuesday, May 1, 1945, in Bay Springs, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022, from 10:00AM until 11:00AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs in Bay Springs, MS. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 11:00AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs, MS. Burial will follow in Bay Springs City Cemetery. Bro. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Hosey Thigpen; parents, Adner and Bertha Harper Thigpen, brothers, Jack and R.J. Boyd and Jimmy Boyd, sister, Frances Gray.

Survivors include his sister, Helen Lee, brother, Robert Thigpen (Vicki) and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Chad Harris, Dexter Parker, Waylon Blakeney, Bobby Brooks, Kevin Rayborn, Michael Thigpen and Jimmy Herrington.

Honorary pallbearer will be Sidney Crosby.
