Cil Ratcliff, 85, of Bay Springs, MS died Tuesday, April 04, 2017 at Jasper General Hospital in Bay Springs, MS. He was born Saturday, December 12, 1931 in Jasper County, MS.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 06, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs in Bay Springs. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 07, 2017 at 12:00 PM at Lake Como Baptist Church in Bay Springs, MS. Burial will follow in Lake Como in Bay Springs, MS. Bro. Cil was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed working for TEC telephone company for 19 years. In his spare time he enjoyed tending to his garden.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Lelia Ratcliff brother, Eugene Ratcliff, brother, Delbert Ratcliff and sister, Lillie Mae Boyd.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel Ratcliff, Bay Springs, MS; son, Jerry Ratcliff (June), Bay Springs, MS; son, Mike Ratcliff, Union, MS; daughter, Helen Melton (Joey), Morton, MS; grandchildren, Ashley Lloyd, Taylorsville, MS; Christopher Ratcliff, Bay Springs, MS; Amanda Ratcliff, Bay Springs, MS; Tonya Parsons (John), Mountain Home, ID; Scotty Glen Ingram, ID; Tasha Stockman (Robert), Bay Springs, MS; Brittany Mercer (J.T.), Laurel, MS; John Ratcliff, Decatur, MS; Timothy Ratcliff, Decatur, MS and Michael Landrum, Laurel, MS; 15 great grandchildren, sister, Lena Mae Moore and 16 nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Mike Ratcliff, Timothy Ratcliff, John Ratcliff, Christopher Ratcliff, Michael Landrum and Floyd Harris.
