CJ Westbrook, 86, of Sylvarena, Mississippi, passed from his earthly home to his heavenly home on Saturday, May 8, 2021, his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born Wednesday, August 8, 1934, in Smith County, Mississippi.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Jesus Name House of Prayer in Raleigh, Mississippi. The burial will follow in the Jesus Name House of Prayer Cemetery. Bro. Davy Hammons will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements. (601) 764-2181

Mr. Westbrook was a member of the Jesus Name House of Prayer.  He was devoted in serving the Lord and making sure his family was in the House of God.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, and friend.  He enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing, but most of all he loved to teach his family how to fish and hunt.  He was a very hard worker until he was not able too.  He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Flora Westbrook; parents, William Perry Westbrook and Clara Jane Matthews Westbrook; and one sister, Betty Smith.

Survivors include his three children, Flora Westbook McMullan and husband, Danny,  of Raleigh; Danny Westbrook and wife, Melina, of Raleigh, and Davie Westbrook, and wife, Tammy, of Raleigh; twelve grandchildren, Christy Reed and husband, Jason, Heith McMullan and wife, Vickie, Danielle Hammons and husband, Clay, Brandon McMullan and wife, Stephanie, Jessica Treadwell and husband, Jason, Beth Dix and husband, Richard, Brandon Farr and wife, Savannah,  Tyler Westbrook and wife, Sadie, Makayla Cannon and husband Isaac, Jared Westbrook, Colton Westbrook, and Denver Westbrook; twenty great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lloyd Westbrook of Bay Springs, and Morris Westbrook and wife, Opal, of Pensacola, FL; and a host of other family members and friends.

His family will serve as pallbearers.
