Clara S. Johnson, 84, of Raleigh, MS passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at her residence in Raleigh, MS. She was born Wednesday, January 18, 1939 in Bay Springs, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs on 22 E 4th Avenue. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM. The burial will then take place in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Louin, Mississippi. Bro. Rusty Stockman will officiate. Clara served in the office of Raleigh High School for thirty-seven years. She was a member of Sylvarena Baptist Church. Clara was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John S. and Dovie O. Stockman; sisters, Peggy Jones and Ora Bell Rogers.

Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda Warren (Gird); son, Kevin Johnson (Natacha); granddaughters, Courtney Osborn (Brett), Skylar Johnson and Emilee Johnson; great granddaughter, Graycen Osborn; brother-in-law, Joe Rogers as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Karl Parker, Jackie Dollar, Tommy Jones, Ricky Johnson, Dean Sims, and Miles Butler.

Honorary pallbearers will be Terry James and Kenneth Sims.

Special music will be performed by Keith Parker.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Sylvarena  Baptist Church.
