Clenton Evon Smith, 79, of Louin, Mississippi, died Thursday, August 26, 2021 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, Mississippi. He was born Friday, September 19, 1941 in Bay Springs, Mississippi.

Graveside Services will be held Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Pineville/Leaf River Cemetery with burial to follow. Bro. Danny Dickerson will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements. (601) 764-2181

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clint and Lillie Smith, son, Clinton Smith, sisters, Margaret Bounds, Eva Sorey, brother, John Smith.

Survivors include his siblings, Sue Rogers, Judy Conn, Merel Martin (Danny), Tommy Smith, Edith Dupree (Ben), Jimmy Smith and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Brian Bounds, Shay McNeil, Jason Baker, Michael Shackelford, Carey Sorey and Dayton Ricketson.
