Cody Carl Walley, 88, of Pelahatchie, MS passed away Monday, December 26, 2016 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. He was born Friday, January 13, 1928 in Jasper County, MS.
Visitation will be held from 10:00AM until 11:00AM Friday, December 30, 2016 at Colonial Chapel in Bay Springs, MS . Graveside services will be held at 11:30AM at Mulberry Cemetery in Bay Springs, MS burial will follow. Bro. Mark Brady will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements. (601)764-2181
He is preceded in death by spouse, Sarah Lou Walley; parents, John Dan Walley and Cecil Walley; niece, Nancy Martin, siblings, Dan Walley, Vergil Walley, James Vernam Walley, Eula May Jackson, May Katherine Steamwinder, Mazebell Jones.
Survivors include his step-daughter, Mary Horton (Jimmie), niece, Barbara Drummond, nephew , Arnold Dan Walley, nephew, David Wayne Walley , great nephew, Bobby Harvey , nephew, Bobby Joe Walley, great nephew, Charles Harvey and great nephew Michael Jones.
