C. V. 'Sonny' Herrington, Jr. 85, of Bay Springs, Mississippi, departed this life on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Jasper General Hospital in Bay Springs, MS. He was born Friday, August 31, 1934 in Bay Springs, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at the New Home Baptist Church in Bay Springs, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at 10:00 AM at New Home Baptist Church and burial will follow in New Home Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Charles Welch will officiate. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather as well as a master mechanic who was Service Manager at Hankins Chevrolet in Taylorsville, MS for over 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin Vardaman Sr., and Chassie Herrington, daughter, Julie Herrington, sister Jan Hough.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Sheila Herrington, son, Brian Herrington (Rhonda), grandchildren, Colin and Grace Herrington, Sister, Mollie Stringer (Haskel) and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
