Daniel Wedgeworth, 77, of Louin, MS passed away Thursday, August 3, 2023 at his residence in Louin, MS. He was born Friday, March 22, 1946 in Pineville, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs on 22 E 4th Avenue, Bay Springs, MS. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Montrose Baptist Church in Louin, MS. The burial will follow in Montrose Cemetery.  Bro. Jim Savell and Bro. He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Gandy Wedgeworth; parents, R.O. and Sara Wedgeworth and one brother, Doug Wedgeworth.

Survivors include his son, Stacey Wedgeworth (Jeanne); daughter, Loretta Roberts (William); brothers, Charles Carr (Betty), John Wedgeworth (Ruby); grandson, James Phillips (Ali Knotts); granddaughters, Brittany Sprague (Travis), Sara Wedgeworth (John Edwards) and Amber Wedgeworth; one adopted grandchild, Keeley Horton; as well as five great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Terry Byrd, Billy Stedman, Terry Hammonds, John Edwards, Terry Roberts, and Dewayne Ratcliff.

Honorary pallbearers will be The Louin Volunteer Fire Department.
