Debra "Debbie" Jean Holder, 67, passed away on February 8th, 2025 at her home in Louin, Mississippi. There will be a visitation held in honor of Debbie on Thursday February 13th, 2025 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Bay Springs from 1-3pm followed immediately by a memorial service at Colonial Chapel.
Debbie is preceded in death by her loving husband, Edison "Buddy" Lee Holder, and her parents Roxie May Moulder Wiggins and Calvin Guimbellot Wiggins.
She is survived by her son Aaron Alexander Holder, her daughter Amiee Rayeann Goodson (Brian), her daughter Deborah "Susie" Carol Stockman (Chuck), her daughter Shannon Leigh Holder (Donnie), Her Son Stephen Lance Holder; Sisters Patricia Heggins (Billy), Lynda Earles (Steve), Donna Johnson (Johnny), Rhonda Brewer (Roy), Brother Calvin Wiggins (Susie); 10 grandchildren, Kaitlan Stockman, Heather Lane Goodson (Jason), Deborah Sinklair Stockman (Stacy), Emily Holder Creel (Brady), Trystan Lee Holder (Sandrea), Karston Bruce Stockman, Lillian May Holder, Raleigh Regina Holder, Bryson Edison Goodson, Braxlee Gene Goodson, and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and friends.
Debbie was born in Vicksburg, Ms on August 12th, 1957 where she remained until moving to Buddy's hometown of Louin, Ms in 1979. Debbie remained in Louin for the remainder of her life. She was a homemaker and mother following alongside Buddy for work. Debbie is described as a resilient, spitfire who spoke her mind often. She spent 39 years with the love of her life, Buddy. Together they had 5 Children, who all describe Debbie as a selfless, caring mother and grandmother. Debbie was known for her service to others, her love to fish, and her love to watch football. In her free time, you would find Debbie on a boat with a pole in her hand, completing puzzles, or spending time with her grandchildren.
Debbie will be remembered as a strong one of a kind mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be sorely missed by everyone that knew her.
