Deloras Gene Hammond Eason, 85, of Louin, Mississippi, went to her Heavenly home joining her husband of over 60 years, Friday November 6, 2020 at her home in Louin, Mississippi. She was born Saturday, July 20, 1935 in Jasper County, Mississippi.

A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Louin, Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 2:00 PM.

Deloras was a fun loving and talented lady, who was loved by so many. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Louin where she served, as a choir director, Sunday school teacher, and member of the WMA. Her beautiful voice and outgoing sense of humor were a blessing to all who knew her. She embraced every opportunity to enjoy life to the fullest. She loved to travel and shop and brought joy to many. She will be missed by all that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Renzy Eason, parents, William Lee and Ottie Hammond, 2 great-grandchildren and numerous sisters, 1 brother and many friends.

Survivors include her daughter, Dr. Rose Brown (Jimmy), son, Alan Eason (Siria), daughter, Gina Moss, daughter, Cindy Hailey (Kent), grandchildren, Brandi K. Luke (Larry), Wade Eason (Karina), Ashley K. Welch (Billy), Lindsey A. Myers (Anthony), Lee Eason, Jared Eason (Tessa), Rebecca R. Beach (Trey), Hunter Rigdon, Hannah Rowell, Rachel R. Seymore (Johnathan), Emmuel Leon (Amber), Juan Leon (Nayeli), Louis Leon, and 18 great-grandchildren, brother, John Hammond (Angie), sisters, Dee Quinnelly, Voncile Sullivan, Yvonne Bianchi (Lon).
