Deral Douglas McMullan, 88, of Bay Springs, Mississippi, died Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was born Saturday, January 23, 1932 in Sylvarena, Mississippi. He attended Sylvarena School, then served in the Army for 2 years in Korea.

Graveside Services will be held Friday, May 22, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Sylvarena Cemetery and the Burial will follow in Sylvarena Cemetery. Bro. Rusty Stockman will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements. (601) 764-2181

Deral was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved gardening and outside activities. He liked to travel and visit family. He was a cross-country truck driver.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Edna McMullan, granddaughter, April Stevens, brother, Lincoln McMullan.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Margaret McMullan, daughter, Reva, grandchildren, Nicholas Williams, Olivia Stevens (Thomas), great-granddaughters, Layla Williams, Mia Morgan and Tahliah Morgan, brothers, Latrelle McMullan (Shelby), Hal McMullan (Barbara), sisters, Wanda Roberson, Mudora Miller, Vera Smith (James), Patricia Williams (Mitchell) and a host of nieces and nephews.
