Donnie Edwards, 58, of Bay Springs, MS died Monday, November 28, 2016 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. He was born Friday, December 27, 1957 in Richton, MS.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 01, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Bay Springs City Cemetery in Bay Springs, MS with burial to follow. Rev. Skip Atchinson will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements. (601) 764-2181

Donnie loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially, hunting and fishing. He had a merry heart and enjoyed joking with and playing pranks on his family and friends. Although Donnie experienced hardships in his life, He maintained his faith in God and passed away a believer.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Murdock Edwards and Eula Edwards and his brothers, Dewayne Edwards, who was his twin, and Robert Edwards.

Survivors include his fiance, Katherine Fender, Bay Springs, MS; daughters, Lauren Edwards and Ashley Rainey (Josh) and son, Adam Lopinto all of Hattiesburg, MS; brother, Marvin Edwards, Richton, MS; sister, Betty Ivy, Pascagoula, MS and a host of nieces, nephews and many other loved ones.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
