Dorothy P. King, 95 of Louin, MS passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at Jasper General Nursing Home in Bay Springs, Inpatient. She was born Friday, January 13, 1928 in Ras, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023, from 11:00AM until 1:00PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs, MS. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023, at 1:00PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs, MS. Burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Louin, MS. Bro. Ms Dot was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She was dedicated nurse for 48 years serving the people of Jasper County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Will H. King; father, Jessie E. Pugh; mother, Ruth Crawford Conner, son, Randall King (Beverly), daughter, Charlotte Montgomery, great-granddaughter, Amber Elizabeth King.

Survivors include her daughters, Dean Morris, Denise Sumrall (Bill), 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way, 2 great-great-granddaughters, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Brad Scott, Heath Scott, Trey Scott, Casey Sumrall, Brian King, Blayne Scott, and Natasha Blackwell.
