Dorothy L. Sauls, 93, passed away peacefully on July 25th 2024, at Jasper General Nursing Home surrounded by family. She was known by "Dot" to many and "Mamaw" to her grands, great grands and their friends. She was born on May 8th 1931, and grew up in Vossburg, MS.

Dot was the daughter of Frank Roland Stevens, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Stevens. She graduated from Pachuta High where she was a member of the basketball team. Dot was a member of West Laurel Baptist Church. However, she attended Stringer Baptist Church once she
moved to Stringer. Dot enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, watching baseball, football, soccer and tennis, crocheting, listening to music and dancing. She will always be remembered for her wit, spunk and love for socializing with friends and family.

Dot is survived by her children Cindy McAlpin (Mack) and Larry Green (Vicki), grandchildren Heather Norwood (Stan) and Mackenzie Horan (Payne), and great grandchildren Olivia Norwood, Karson Wade-Evans and Chloe Norwood. She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Eugene Sauls and grandson Brannon Wade.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 4th, 2024 at 5:00 pm at Stringer Baptist Church.
