Dorothy Buckley Sims, 93, of Bay Springs, MS, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Jasper County Nursing Home in Bay Springs, MS. She was born Wednesday, October 14, 1925 in Jasper County, MS.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs in Bay Springs, MS. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 PM at Liberty Cemetery. Bro. Mark Quarrells will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 764-2181

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis D. Sims; parents, James Ott Buckley and Audrey Price Buckley; brothers, Esmond Buckley and Osmond Buckley; sister, Juanita Myrick and nieces, Peggy Rogers, Judy Buckley and Kim Stasny.

Survivors include her niece, Frances Coffin (Bob), Laurel, MS; nephews, Tommy Buckley (Frankie), Stringer, MS, Bill Buckley (Vicki), Laurel, MS and Bob Buckley (Diane), Stringer, MS.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.
