Oree Douglas Ainsworth, 70, of Bay Springs, MS passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017 surrounded by family at his home in Bay Springs, MS. He was born Monday, November 11, 1946 at Fort Hood, TX.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Bay Springs Baptist Church. Dr. Lee Yancey will officiate.
Mr. Ainsworth was a lifelong resident of Bay Springs. He liked hunting, football, and enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports.
He was a member of Bay Springs Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his Parents-Oree D. and Elline Ainsworth.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years - Lynn Ainsworth, Son - Wayne Ainsworth, Daughters - Michelle Dixon, Susan Hays, and Misty Oppenheimer, Sisters - Judy Horn, Laura Parker and 8 Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to American Cancer Society or to The Children's Hospital located at Anschutz Medical Center of Aurora, Co.
