Mr. Norvell, age 91, was born January 2, 1931, in Lubbock, TX, and was a longtime resident of Montrose. He was a retired truck driver, and a member of Montrose Baptist Church, where he served as deacon. He served as treasurer and groundskeeper for the Montrose Baptist Church and the Montrose Cemetery for many years, where he served faithfully until 2020.
