Edith 'Edie' M. Stringer, 79 of Bay Springs, MS passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022, at her residence in Bay Springs, MS. She was born Friday, April 23, 1943 in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 10:00AM until 12:00PM at Sylvarena Baptist Church in Raleigh, MS. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, at 12:00PM at Sylvarena Baptist Church in Raleigh, MS. Burial will follow in Bethany Cemetery in Raleigh, MS. Bro. Rusty Stockman will officiate. Edie was a sweet loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law and a friend to everyone.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Clinton Stringer; parents, Everette and Nellie Leake Moubry, brother, Benjamin Moubry.

Survivors include her son, James Stringer (Sherry), daughter, Jean Stringer (Bo), son, Robert C. Stringer (Debra), grandchildren, Courtney Cribb (Everett), Austin Stringer (Kayla), Blake Stringer (Alexus), Alexis Bravo (Armando), great-grandchildren, Karington Cribb, Bentley Stringer, Ariel Stringer, Oliver Bravo, Sage Bravo, Preston Sanders, Scarlett Sanders, sister, Shelby McMullan (Shel), brother, Lawerance Moubry (Bev) and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Stacey Stringer, Phillip McMullan, Armando Bravo, Blake Stringer, Austin Stringer, and Ronnie Joe Keyes.

Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Stringer and Carthell Jones.
