Edna Geneva Culpepper, 93, of Bay Springs, MS, died Monday, January 25, 2021, at McCamey Convalescent Center in McCamey, TX. She was born Sunday, February 27, 1927, in Jasper County, MS.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 30, 2021, at 1:00 PM, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs, and the Burial will follow in Enon Baptist Cemetery. Bro. Dale Manning, Bro. Paul Carby and Bro. Dewayne Windham will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements (601) 764-2181.

Geneva retired from NECO. She loved life and helping people, she loved her children and family, rummage sales and flowers. She believed in the Lord, and was known for her quick wit, her infectious smile, and her kind and compassionate spirit.

She was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Herman Lavelle Green, and second husband, Shelton Culpepper, parents, Samuel Sylvester and Sarah Nevada Medlin Stockman, son, Herman Green, brothers, Samuel Stockman, Roy Stockman, sister, Eletta Stockman, and two nephews.

Survivors include her brother, Harmon Stockman, son, Sammy Green (Delia), daughters, Linda Miller (Mike), and Carolyn Windham (George), grandchildren, Samantha Carby (Paul), Rebecca Hesse (Nick), Matt Miller (Madelyn), Marlene Rice, Brian Windham (Chasity), Lee Peavy, Tanya Griffin, and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephew.

Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.

A memorial contribution may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or American Cancer Society.
