Ellie Faye Bounds, 85 of Pearl, passed away on April 23, 2024, at the River Oaks Hospital in Flowood, Mississippi. She was born October 15, 1938 in Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM at Truitt Memorial Baptist Church in 3507 Old Brandon Rd, Pearl, MS with funeral services 2:00 PM at Truitt Memorial Baptist Church in Pearl, MS. Burial will follow in Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery in Forrest, MS. Brother Dennis Ellingberg and Brother Dennis Stringer will officiate. She loved to work in her yard, shopping, and fishing with her friends. Mrs. Bounds was a lifelong Christian and attended numerous churches through her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Earl Bounds; father, Leroy Parkman; mother, Bertha Traxler Parkman; brothers, Austin Parkman, William Dan Parkman, and Herschel Parkman; and her sister, Betty Jean Edwards.

Survivors include her son, Micheal Bounds; daughters, Shirley Garrett (Paul) and Debra Davidson; her grandsons, Jeffrey Garrett (Amber), Christopher Davidson and Kenneth Bounds (Kristen); granddaughter, Kelley Smith (Justin); great children, Garrett Smith, Finley Smith, Benjamin Garrett, Sawyer Garrett, Anabella Garrett, Dylan Davidson, Harlee Jo Bounds, Akaysia Hendon, and Kenneth Ray Bounds, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Garrett, Justin Smith, Kenny Bounds, Christopher Davidson, Brian Geyman, and William Edwards.
