Elseon Wilson, 83, of Louin, Mississippi, passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at Jasper County Nursing Home in Bay Springs, Mississippi. She was born Wednesday, October 5, 1938 in Louin, Mississippi.
Graveside Services will be held Friday, December 17, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Mt Nebo Cemetery with burial to follow. Bro. Steve Holland will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements. (601) 764-2181
She worked alongside her husband, Howard as a farmer's wife, mother of 5. They together attended Mt. Nebo Baptist Church where she played the piano. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and excellent cook.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Douglas Wilson, parents, Gordan and Camille Dupree, daughter, Jennifer Camille Huffmaster, grandson, Paul Douglas Stringer Jr., brother, Lynn Dupree.
Survivors include her daughter, Joanie Marie Fries, daughter, Julie Dawn McCormick, son, Dean Wilson (Michelle), daughter, Lora Gorey (Justin), step-son, Doug Wilson (Shirley), grandchildren, Leslie Shows (Jim), Glenn Vanderslice (Angie), Katie Grayson (Willie), Thomas Whitney Sims (Christy), Will Sims, Anna Hargrove (Justin), Dean Wilson (Dakota), Allie Winn (Lane), Lane Grayson, John Howard Currie (Kimberly), Logan Wilson, great-grandchildren, Bailey Stewart, Jim Wesley Shows, Ben Stewart, Jill Shows, Lydia Yeager, Maddy and Addy Grayson, Brayden Williams, Paul Sims, Jacob Vanderslice, Owen Sims, Carter Hargrove, Olivia Sims, Tristan Sims, Kaci Dean Wilson, Sara Elizabeth Currie, Jace Bradley Winn, John Otis Currie, sisters, Mildred Phillips, Katherine Dixon (Phil), brother, Ben Dupree (Edith).
Pallbearers will be Dean Wilson, Will Sims, Thomas Sims, Lane Grayson, John Howard Currie, and Jim Wesley Shows.
Honorary pallbearers will be Brayden Williams, Paul and Owen Sims.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Nebo Cemetery Fund.
