Elsie Faye Waites Dearman

Elsie Faye Dearman, aged 75, of Rose Hill, Mississippi, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025, in Rose Hill, Mississippi. Born on June 12, 1949, in Bay Springs, Mississippi, she was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend.

Elsie enjoyed traveling in her golden years, collecting items, and cherished spending time with her family and friends. Her warmth and kindness will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Dearman; her father, Charlie Bill Waites; her mother, Tressie Grice Waites; and her sisters, Bonnie Dickerson Windham and Peggy Ann Bishop.

She is survived by her one son, Shannon Dearman; her one brother, Don Waites; her one sister, Rachel Shumock; and a host of other family members and friends.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Lake Como Baptist Church Cemetery in Bay Springs, Mississippi, with Bro. John Musgrove officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs.
