Emily Jane Biggers, 77, of Louin, Mississippi, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Jasper County Nursing Home in Bay Springs, Mississippi. She was born Thursday, June 15, 1944 in Meridian, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs. A graveside service will follow the visitation at 2:30 PM at Zion Hill Cemetery in Louin, MS. Bro. David Slaughter will officiate. Emily was the widow of Rev. Roy H. Biggers, a United Methodist Minister. She was always active in the churches he served. She was a member of Poplar Head United Methodist Church, Saucier, MS.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Biggers and her parents, James and Dorothy Worthen.

Survivors include her daughter, Melissa York (Russell) and her grandsons Chase and Owen York, all of Louin, MS.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
