Emmett Paul Morris, 61, of Louin, Mississippi, died Thursday May 17, 2018. He was born Sunday, March 24, 1957 in Leland, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 9:00 AM until 12:00 AM at the Smith County Mulit-Purpose Building in Raleigh, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Smith County Mulit-Purpose Building and the Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery in Yazoo, Mississippi. Bro Carey Bass will officiate. Colonial Chapel of Bay Springs will be in charge of arrangements. (601) 764-2181.

He was preceded in death by father, Robert Morris; mother, Mary Lou Boyd Morris; daughter –in-law, Kristy Scott.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years Dean King Morris; daughter, Candice Lea Morris; son, Paul Scott Morris; step-sons Brad Scott (Brittany), Trey Scott and Heath Scott (Rachael); 12 Grandchildren; brother, Bob Morris (Sheila) and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Smith County Sheriff's Department.

In Lieu of flowers the family has asked donations be made to Antioch Baptist Church in Bay Springs, Mississippi.
