A lifelong resident of Smith County, Ethan had completed his sophomore year at Raleigh High, with anticipation of the upcoming fall semester where he would play the position of tackle as a starter on the football team for the Raleigh Lions for the 2022-2023 season. Active in his community, he was a participant in the Smith County 4-H Club, and a member of Liberty Baptist Church, where he was active in Sunday School, and in the youth department. Having a strong work ethic, he will be remembered for his time spent in the hayfield, and tinkering as a "shade tree mechanic." Favorite pass times were hunting and fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. Ethan left a legacy of one of the greatest commandments in the Holy Scriptures, that we should love one another, and he often made time for others, checking on the well being of everyone else. He will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Windell and Bobbie Dickerson; two uncles: Eugene Pearson and Earnest Bryant.
Survivors include his parents: Joseph and Amy Dickerson Adcock of Morton; three brothers: William Adcock, Tanner Adcock and Kyle Adcock; paternal grandparents: Bertley and Martha Adcock; five aunts: Frankie Johnson (Dean), Ruth Register (Jeff), Darlene Peets (Tim), Wendy Bryant and JoAnna Owens; many first cousins, a host of other cousins, "adopted" aunts and uncles, cousins, and extended family.
