Fannie Mae Hendry Windham, 93, of Bay Springs, Mississippi, died Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Jasper County Nursing Home in Bay Springs, Mississippi. She was born Saturday, April 16, 1927 in Bay Springs, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Bay Springs, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs and the Burial will follow in Walters Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Dwayne Windham and Bro. Brody McCool will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements. (601) 764-2181

Mrs. Fannie was a Christian homemaker who loved people and loved to serve others. She was always cooking for the sick and visiting shut-ins. She visited every resident of the Jasper County Nursing Home every week for as long as she was able to do so. She loved the Lord and loved working at the church events and helping out at school events. Helping others was her greatest pleasure.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Lee Windham, parents, David and Fannie Hendry, sons, Max Windham, Paul Windham.

Survivors include her children, Charles Windham (Martha), Terry Windham (Tommie), Dale Windham (Ashley), Connie Windham (Yvonne), daughters-in-law, Cheryl Windham and Bonnie Windham, 13 grandchildren, step-grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Windham, Brock James, Lane Windham, Donavan Windham, Bruce Windham, and Blake Hendry.
