Farrell Davis Thornton, age 77, passed away on July 13, 2020 at his residence.

He is survived by daughter, Ramona Gail Warden (Travis); sons: David Farrell Thornton (Kayoung), Alexander Thornton (Christi), Davis Thornton (Monica), and William Lamar "Lay-lay" Presley; brother, Robert Thornton; and sister, Carolyn Driver.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Alexander Hamilton "Hamp" Thornton and Myrtle "Myrt" Thornton; daughter, Tammy Thornton; and brothers, Lloyd Thornton and Oyed Thornton.

Graveside services for Mr. Farrell Thornton will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at 10:00 AM at High Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Raleigh with Bro. Justin K. Chaney officiating. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Raleigh is in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers are Lamar Presley, Alex Thornton, Kade Thornton, Garrett Thornton, and James Sistrunk.
