Mrs. Fay H. Stringer, age 85, went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 7, 2018.

Fay was born in Smith County, MS to Lace A. Hancock and Mabel Hancock.

She is survived by husband of 67 years Billy Hill Stringer; daughter Gloria J. Spradley (James); sons, Paul Douglas Stringer, Sr. and Stacey Stringer; grandchildren, Kyle Smith (Amanda), Stacy Smith, Caitlyn Stringer, Magen Stringer,  Jessica Tullos, and Fisher L.; and great-grandchildren, Whitley Moss (Zach), Ashtyn Smith, Kyleigh Smith, Brayden Reid, Kaysen Reid, McKenna Reid, Lynlee Tullos, and Brody Tullos.

She was preceded in death by parents, Lace and Mabel Hancock; brother, Max Ray Hancock; grandsons, Paul Douglas Stringer, Jr. and Michael Wade Smith.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 10, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sylvarena Baptist Church.

Funeral services for Mrs. Fay Stringer will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Sylvarena Baptist Church with burial to follow at Bethany Cemetery in Sylvarena .  Bro. Bobby Hood will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Stringer, Kevin Stringer, Ronnie Keys, Derrick Brown, Phillip McMullan, and Jackie Dollar.
