Frances B. Lewis, 86 of Rose Hill, MS passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at her residence in Rose Hill, MS. She was born Wednesday, October 28, 1936, in Montrose, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023, from 10:00AM until 12:00PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs at 22 E 4th Avenue, Bay Springs, MS. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at 12:00PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs in Bay Springs, MS. Burial will follow in Twistwood Cemetery in Rose Hill, MS. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin L. Lewis; father, Foster Jackson Blackwell; mother, Alma Smith Blackwell; brothers, Corbin Blackwell, Charles Blackwell; sisters, Hattie Brister and Marie Amos.

Survivors include her son, Glenn "Pete" Lewis (Kathy); grandchild, Tyson Yelverton; brother, Jack Austin Blackwell (Bobbie).

Pallbearers will be Doug Blackwell, Michael Dykes, Tony Yelverton, Tommy Bishop, Roger Yelverton, and Todd Yelverton.

Honorary pallbearers will be, Amos Thigpen, Stacy Blackwell, Stewart Brown, Butch Harris, Jimmy Keenan, John Keenan,
