Frank R. Stevens Jr., 88, of Louin, MS died Thursday, September 21, 2017 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS . He was born Friday, December 28, 1928 in Sandersville, MS.

Visitation will be held Sunday, September 24, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs in Bay Springs. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 25, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs in Bay Springs, MS. Burial will follow in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Louin, MS. Bro. Eddie Brady and Bro. William Spencer will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements. Frank was a founding member of Central Volunteer Fire Department, a member of the Army Reserve, and served as a deacon at Calvary Baptist Church. He was retired from BF Goodrich and Alexander's Hardware.

He is preceded in death by his father, Frank R. Stevens, Sr., mother, Mary Elizabeth James Stevens, sisters; Cleo Jones, Verdie Mae Brewer, brothers; Horace Stevens, Aubrey Stevens, Robert H. Stevens, brother-in-law, Troy Stringer, sister-in-law, Jeanette Stringer.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years,Cleo Stevens, Louin, MS, sons; James Stevens, Louin, MS, Eddie Stevens (Terri), Bay Springs, MS, daughter, Kathy Bishop (Tommy), Rose Hill, MS, grand children; Jennifer McKee (Jimmy), Bonnie Purvis (Ryan), Jonathan Bishop, Ben Bishop (Jessica), Samantha Bishop, Andrew Stevens, great-grand children; Chelsea Bryant (Mason), Paxton McKee, Gracie McKee, Lauryn Purvis, Logan Purvis, great-great grand children; Max Byrant, Ava Byrant, Cam Bryant, sisters; Dorothy Sauls, Stringer, MS, Ruth Holcomb, Laurel, MS, and a host of nieces and nephews,
