George Washington Lowery, 74, of Raleigh, Mississippi, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Mississippi Care Center of Raleigh. He was born Saturday, February 22, 1947 in Mize, Mississippi.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Linnie Lowery, siblings, Thurman Lowery, Herman Lowery, James Lowery, William Lowery, Pat Lowery, Wayne Lowery, Lucille Walters, Peggy Stewart, Ruth Luckey and Ruth Scott.

Survivors include his daughters, Christy Lowery English (Ricky), Amy Lowery Carroll (Randy), grandsons, Brody English, Jameson Carroll, sister, Janie Hetrick, brothers, Jerry Lowery (Isabell), Billy Lowery and numerous nieces and nephews.
