Glendora Lee Michael James of Cary, NC, was born on April 13, 1931, in Garrett County, Maryland and was called home to Heaven on April 16, 2026, Graveside services were at Antioch Baptist Church, Louin, MS.

Her parents were James Michael and Violet Victoria Michael. She was preceded in death by her husband Ira Bertram “Bo” James.

Glendora loved her family, the outdoors planting her flowers and her West Virginia summers. She had nine siblings.

She is survived by her children: Linda James (Deanna), Roy James (Sonja), Cynthia Gordon, Tena Fabrizio (Chris), and Teresa James.

Her grandchildren are Diane, Philip, Matthew, Nicholas, Lindsay, Leah Celeste and Christopher and she had thirteen great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were some of her family listed above along with nephew Larry James and grandson-in-law Jamie Glotfelty.
